Abby Bathurst - Poet
Life's Little Inspirations

Back in 2020, I joined a publishing company's writing challenge.
The aim of the challenge was to write a poem each day for 20 days and at the end, you would get a published poetry anthology.
It was during lockdown and so, I went ahead and wrote 20 poems and can now officially say I'm a published poet.
Writing has always been a love of mine but poetry never appealed to me as much as prose or journalism.
But I am so proud of myself for actually crafting poems that are meaningful to me and that the world are able to read.
My poetry anthology is available to buy on Amazon for £4.40.

An insight into the poems
I didn't really have a plan when I wrote my poetry anthology.
I put pen to paper and wrote whatever came to mind. For some poems, I had an overall topic I wanted to focus on but then I let the creativity take control.
All 20 poems come from the heart and are about my passions in life and things I care about.
They range from societal issues to family to motorsport.
If you have a read below, you can see some of the titles of the poems in the anthology.
